Christian Vegetarian Association Presents:
Take Heart!
Fewer Dairy Farms is a Good Thing

The drought and the increasing price of grains are driving dairy farms in California to collapse. Owners of dairy farms are being forced to sell their cows for beef in order to barely stay afloat hoping for some relief in a near future. It is predicted that about 100 dairy farms will close.

I truly believe that factory farms are unsustainable torture chambers from where nothing good comes out. A hundred fewer dairy farms is good news for God’s Creation!

Of course, it’s very sad to learn that farmers are struggling and that their livelihoods are being threatened; however, the exploitation of God’s animals cannot take place without negative consequences.  Hopefully, these farmers will find a way to transition to a different business that honors God and His/Her Creation.
