Eggs Are Not Safe
In spite of the numerous violations of health safety at different egg farms in the state of Iowa, the FDA is still failing consumers. Many of the FDA health reports at egg farms show that they do not even meet the minimum federal requirements and that to make matters worse, “information such as the size of rodent infestations, the brand names under which the eggs are sold, and even the names of diseases documented at the egg farms — are blacked out and being withheld from the public.” Moreover, when violations were found none have resulted in fines or penalties from state or federal agencies. It shouldn’t surprise us that disease arises from causing misery to these creatures, after all, we ripe what we sow. Therefore, if we sow seeds of compassion and love, we should ripe peace, healing and love.
