The demand for grain has 3 competitors: human food, fodder and fuel. However, the distribution is not ethical as millions of people are going hungry every day around the world while farmed animals are fattened for the consumption by people who can afford it, not the poor and the hungry. The consequences of this are monumental as the world population grows.

Unless people realize that the world is in peril, more and more people around the world are going to face hunger and hardship as the world population grows, and the demand for animal product increases. It's imperative to reduce our dependence on animal products and transition to a plant-based diet in order to honor God's Creation.
