Interview with Karen Down
Karen Dawn is the founder of the animal advocacy media watch site DawnWatch.com. In this interview she shares her journey from experimenting on rats in college to becoming a very outspoken animal activist. She also discusses her book "Thanking the Monkey" and how her background in journalism helped her reach so many people in a very accessible way. Dawn believes animal rights advocates should present themselves in a more optimistic and fun way in order to show other people that the animal advocates lifestyle is a desirable one.
