Animal Suffering

The authors of this article, Andrew Linzey, director of the Oxford Centre for Animal Ethics and a member of the faculty of theology at the University of Oxford, and Adrian Morrison, professor emeritus of behavioral neuroscience at the University of Pennsylvania's School of Veterinary Medicine, defend their arguments about animal suffering.

Rev. Linzey believes that animal suffering should be a moral concern and avoided when possible. On the other hand, Dr. Morrison, believes that the difference between humans an animals, make enough of a case to support the use of animals in order to improve the lives of humans and other species.
